Data Deletion Instructions

EIRA Institute of Technology & Health Sciences respects your right to request deletion of personal information associated with a website inquiry, pre-registration, Facebook Messenger conversation, Instagram Direct conversation, WhatsApp Business conversation, or other interaction with EIRA. These instructions provide the public data-deletion process for EIRA Leads Automation and the EIRA College Portal.

1. Submit a Request

Email [email protected] with the subject Data Deletion Request — Meta Messaging or Data Deletion Request — EIRA.

Include enough information for us to locate the correct record:

• Your full name and the relevant Facebook profile name, Instagram username, or WhatsApp phone number
• The messaging channel involved: Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, or WhatsApp Business
• The approximate date of your conversation or inquiry
• The phone number or email address you shared with EIRA, if applicable
• Your program of interest or EIRA reference number, if known
• A clear description of the information you want deleted

Do not email your Facebook password, EIRA password, access token, payment-card information, or unnecessary identity documents.

2. Verification

To protect people from unauthorized deletion requests, EIRA may ask for limited additional information to confirm that the requester is the person connected to the record. We will not ask for a Facebook password or access token. If we cannot safely match a request to a record, we will explain what additional information is required.

3. Information Covered

Where applicable and not subject to a required retention exception, deletion may cover:

• Facebook Page-scoped identifiers, Instagram-scoped identifiers or usernames, WhatsApp phone numbers, and available display names
• Messages, attachments, timestamps, opt-in or template details, and related delivery information stored by EIRA for Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, and WhatsApp Business
• Lead Inbox conversation and staff follow-up records
• Website inquiry or pre-registration information linked to the conversation
• Contact details and other information voluntarily provided during the inquiry

Deleting a conversation from Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp does not automatically delete a copy already received by EIRA. Please submit a request using the process above if you also want EIRA's records reviewed for deletion.

4. Processing & Confirmation

EIRA will acknowledge the request, verify it where necessary, and normally complete an eligible deletion request within 30 days. If a request is unusually complex or a record must be retained, we will explain the status or limitation. EIRA will send confirmation through the supplied contact method after resolving the request.

5. Information We May Need to Retain

EIRA may retain limited information where reasonably required for:

• Academic transcripts, certificates, enrollment, and regulatory verification
• Accounting, fee, salary, tax, bank, or other legally required financial records
• Security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, legal claims, or dispute resolution
• Evidence that a deletion request was received and completed

Where practical, information retained for these purposes will be restricted, minimized, or anonymized and will not be used for unrelated marketing.

6. Other Privacy Requests

You may use the same contact address to request access to or correction of personal information. For more information about collection, AI-assisted replies, service providers, security, and retention, read EIRA's Privacy Policy. Use of EIRA's public and digital services is also governed by the Terms of Service.
