About the role
We are looking for an experienced educator or practitioner to teach LHV and CMW students at EIRA Institute. You will connect classroom learning with practical demonstrations, mentor students and help coordinate supervised clinical learning. Teaching assignments will reflect your verified qualifications and experience.
What you will do
- Prepare and deliver lessons in maternal and child health, midwifery and community health within your professional scope.
- Lead skills demonstrations and supervised practice using appropriate teaching equipment.
- Prepare quizzes, practical assessments and feedback aligned with the assigned syllabus.
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance, assessment records and student skills logs.
- Coordinate with the academic team and clinical supervisors on placements and student progress.
- Teach safe practice, infection prevention, respectful care and timely referral.
What you will bring
- A recognised LHV diploma, or a nursing qualification with a midwifery qualification, or a recognised degree in midwifery.
- Current Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) registration in the relevant professional category.
- Relevant clinical experience in maternal and newborn care, midwifery or community health. Please describe your responsibilities and dates in your CV.
- Ability to explain concepts clearly in Urdu and English, demonstrate procedures and give constructive feedback.
- Availability for on-campus teaching in the Westridge / Chur Chawk area of Rawalpindi.
Preferred experience
- Previous teaching of LHV or CMW students, including lesson planning and practical assessment.
- Three or more years of relevant post-qualification clinical experience.
- Experience in antenatal and postnatal care, newborn care, family planning and community health education.
- Additional nursing/midwifery education or recognised training in teaching and clinical supervision.
