Dispensers work in hospital dispensaries, retail pharmacies, BHU dispensing, and clinic pharmacies. They're also the natural pathway into B. Pharmacy later (with on-the-job experience funding the next diploma).

The Dispenser diploma is a 1-year paramedical qualification recognized by the Punjab Medical Faculty / Federal Board. It trains you to dispense medicines in hospitals, BHUs, retail pharmacies, and clinic pharmacies under a pharmacist's supervision.
Dispenser is 1 year — works under a pharmacist. B. Pharmacy is 2 years — Category B Pharmacist (can independently run a medical store). Many graduates start with Dispenser to begin earning, then do B. Pharmacy later with on-the-job experience.
Admission fee is Rs 20,000 (one-time) and monthly fee is Rs 7,000 — the most affordable diploma at EIRA. Federal Board registration Rs 10,000 and examination Rs 9,000.
Matric or FSc with any subjects, minimum 46% marks, age 18–24 years, Punjab domicile required (current intake). Open to all genders.
Hospital dispensaries (public and private), retail pharmacy chains and independent medical stores, BHU and government clinic dispensing, and clinic pharmacy support roles.
No — opening a medical store legally requires a Category B Pharmacist (B. Pharmacy 2-year) or Category A Pharmacist (Pharm-D 5-year). The Dispenser diploma qualifies you to work IN a medical store under the pharmacist. Many graduates use it as a stepping stone to B. Pharmacy.
