About the role
We are seeking a nursing educator to support CNA teaching and nursing foundation subjects at EIRA Institute. The role combines classroom instruction, skills demonstrations, student assessment and coordination of clinical learning. Additional LHV or CMW teaching will depend on relevant midwifery credentials and experience.
What you will do
- Teach nursing fundamentals, patient observation, basic care and professional communication.
- Demonstrate nursing procedures and supervise student practice within the relevant syllabus and professional scope.
- Develop lesson plans, quizzes and practical assessments, and provide individual feedback.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records and student competency logs.
- Work with clinical supervisors to plan learning objectives and monitor student progress.
- Reinforce infection prevention, patient dignity, documentation and safe escalation of concerns.
What you will bring
- BSN or Post-RN BSN from a recognised institution.
- Current Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) registration as a nurse.
- Relevant post-qualification clinical nursing experience and confidence in demonstrating fundamental nursing skills.
- Clear communication in Urdu and English, a supportive teaching approach and accurate record keeping.
- Availability for on-campus teaching in the Westridge / Chur Chawk area of Rawalpindi.
Preferred experience
- Previous nursing or CNA teaching, clinical instruction or student supervision.
- Three or more years of clinical experience and experience preparing lesson plans and assessments.
- A documented midwifery qualification and maternal/newborn-care experience for additional LHV or CMW teaching.
- Further study in nursing or health professions education, and confidence using digital teaching tools.
